Blephagel is a hydrating and cooling gel that is designed to wash and soothe irritated, inflamed, or crusty eyelids. It's most commonly prescribed to people with such conditions as:
Daily cleansing with Blephagel helps to remove dirt, oil, dried secretions, remnants of makeup, and crusts that can build up along the lash line and cause irritation to the eyes.
Preservative-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and fragrance-free, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
It can be used safely by contact lens wearers.
Mild enough to be used safely on a daily basis in the long term.
Helps to improve eye hygiene, which is important in any patient who experiences eye irritation or has long-standing eyelid conditions.
Blephagel includes Poloxamer 188, a mild cleansing ingredient that properly removes debris without drying or stinging. The gel also moisturises and soothes the eyelid skin, reducing redness and making it comfortable again.
Its non-greasy, fast-drying texture makes it ideal for use in the morning and at night, including prior to makeup application or following extended wear of contact lenses.
Adults and children 6 years and older.
People with sensitive skin or allergies.
Contact lens wearers and users of other eye treatments (just leave a gap between applications).
If you have itchy, gritty, red or crusty eyelids, Blephagel can be a simple, soothing addition to your daily eye care routine.
Use with a clean cotton pad or gauze or directly on the lower lid of the eye – place a small amount of gel on, close your eye, and gently massage across the eyelid and lash line.
Do not wash off – Blephagel is retained on the skin.
Avoid touching the tube tip to the eye to avoid contamination.
Best used twice a day – morning to remove overnight deposits and evening to remove daily impurities and makeup.
